The Legend of Kevin
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s Kevin!
Kevin is a roly-poly flying pony who finds himself blown a long way from home in a magical storm. Luckily for him, he lands on Max’s balcony, and together they form a heroic duo — and a strong friendship — as they set out to save the residents of Bumbleford from rising floodwaters. Irresistible to even the most reluctant of readers, join Kevin and Max, and a few unusual visitors, as they set out on their first custard cream-fuelled adventure.
This laugh-out-loud tale is the first in a brand new series (brimming with biscuits) from the hugely popular and multi-award winning duo, Philip Reeve and Sarah McIntyre. Kevin isn’t afraid to be different, and will show readers just how important it is to have the confidence to go ahead and achieve what they want to — whatever the size of their wings!

About the authors
When they were little Sarah McIntyre and Philip Reeve both loved drawing horses.
Sarah got to ride her mum’s friend’s Shetland pony, Bluebell. Sarah lives in London, surrounded by blocks of flats like the one where Max and Daisy (sorry, Elvira) live.
Philip never had a chance to ride at all, so he just made up stories about horses. Nowadays, Philip lives in the Wild West Hills of the Outermost West (also known as Dartmoor), where loads of shaggy ponies roam.
